a Web page
Do one of the following:

a page from within the current Web site:

Save a Web page to a different Web site

File menu, click Save As.

Locate and click the
Web site where you want to save the page.

File name box, type the name of the page.

Create a hyperlink
In
Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design
,
and then do one of the following:
Create
a hyperlink to an existing page or file
1.
Select
the text or the picture that you want to use as the hyperlink.
If you do not
select text or a picture, the destination
URL (Uniform
Resource Locator (URL): An address that specifies a protocol (such
as HTTP or FTP) and a location of an object, document, World Wide
Web page, or other destination on the Internet or an intranet, for
example: http://www.microsoft.com/.) is displayed
as the hyperlink text.
2.
On the
Standard toolbar, click Insert Hyperlink
.
3.
Under
Link to, click Existing File or Web Page.
4.
Select
the page or file you want to use as a destination.
Create
a hyperlink to a new page
1.
Select
the text or the picture that you want to use as the hyperlink.
If you do not
select text or a picture, the destination
URL (Uniform
Resource Locator (URL): An address that specifies a protocol (such
as HTTP or FTP) and a location of an object, document, World Wide
Web page, or other destination on the Internet or an intranet, for
example: http://www.microsoft.com/.) is displayed
as the hyperlink text.
2.
On the
Standard toolbar, click Insert Hyperlink
.
3.
Under
Link to, click Create New Document.
4.
In the
Name of new document box, type the name of the file you want
to create and link to.
If you want to
create a document in a different location, under Full path,
click Change, browse to the location where you want to create
the file, and then click OK.
5.
Under
When to edit, specify whether you want to edit the file now
or later.
Create
a hyperlink to a page or file on the World Wide Web
1.
Select
the text or the picture that you want to use as the hyperlink.
If you do not
select text or a picture, the destination
URL (Uniform
Resource Locator (URL): An address that specifies a protocol (such
as HTTP or FTP) and a location of an object, document, World Wide
Web page, or other destination on the Internet or an intranet, for
example: http://www.microsoft.com/.) is displayed
as the hyperlink text.

On the
Standard toolbar, click Insert Hyperlink
.
3.
Under
Link to, click Existing File or Web Page, and then, to
the right of the Look in box, click the Browse the Web
icon
.
4.
In
your Web browser, browse to the page that you want to link to, and
then press ALT+TAB to switch back to Microsoft FrontPage. The
location of the page you visited is displayed in the Address
box.
Create
a hyperlink to an e-mail address
1.
Select
the text or the picture that you want to use as the hyperlink.
If you do not
select text or a picture, the destination
URL (Uniform
Resource Locator (URL): An address that specifies a protocol (such
as HTTP or FTP) and a location of an object, document, World Wide
Web page, or other destination on the Internet or an intranet, for
example: http://www.microsoft.com/.) is displayed
as the hyperlink text.
2.
On the
Standard toolbar, click Insert Hyperlink
.
3.
Under
Link to, click E-mail Address.
4.
Type
the e-mail address you want in the E-mail address box, or
select an e-mail address in the Recently used e-mail addresses
box.
5.
In the
Subject box, type the subject of the e-mail message.
Note Some
Web browsers and e-mail programs may not recognize the subject line.
Create
a hyperlink to a bookmark on an existing page or file
1.
Select
the text or the picture that you want to use as the hyperlink.
If you do not
select text or a picture, the destination
URL (Uniform
Resource Locator (URL): An address that specifies a protocol (such
as HTTP or FTP) and a location of an object, document, World Wide
Web page, or other destination on the Internet or an intranet, for
example: http://www.microsoft.com/.) is displayed
as the hyperlink text.

On the
Standard toolbar, click Insert Hyperlink

3.
Under
Link to, click Existing File or Web Page.
4.
Select
the page that contains the
bookmark (bookmark:
A location or selection of text in a file that you name for
reference purposes. Bookmarks identify a location within your file
that you can later refer or link to.), and then
click Bookmark.
5.
Under
Select a place in this document, click the bookmark you want
to use as the destination, and then click OK.
Create
a hyperlink to a bookmark on the current page
1.
Select
the text or the picture that you want to use as the hyperlink.
If you do not
select text or a picture, the destination
URL (Uniform
Resource Locator (URL): An address that specifies a protocol (such
as HTTP or FTP) and a location of an object, document, World Wide
Web page, or other destination on the Internet or an intranet, for

Link to, click Place in This Document.
4.
Under
Select a place in this document, click the bookmark you want
to use as the destination, and then click OK.

Click
the Target Frame button. In the Target Frame dialog
box, select New Window and click OK.

Set the properties for thumbnails
1.
In
Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design
.
2.
On the
Tools menu, click Page Options, and then click the
Auto Thumbnail tab.
3.
Do one
or more of the following:
o
To
specify the size, in the Set box, click the option you want,
and then in the Pixels box, type or select the value in
pixels (pixel:
A single unit of measurement that your computer's display hardware
uses to paint images on your screen. These units, which often appear
as tiny dots, compose the pictures displayed by your screen.).
o
To
specify the border size, select the Border thickness, and
then in the Pixels box, enter the value in pixels.
o
To
bevel the edges of the graphic, click the Beveled edge check
box.
If you
have also specified a border thickness, the thumbnail will have a
beveled edge inside of a border.
